To all the competitors! results page

I would like to congratulate you all who took part in our annual Dublin Bay Offroad Challenge. It was a great day made for pushing the limits and keeping ahead of the competition. We are pleased that our event attracted some great competition as well as some first time racers. It is one of our goals to introduce this sport to wider public in a beautiful and safe environment of Dublin Bay.Thiathlon and duathlon courses were the same as previous years and offered the comparison for people that raced here before. Check out our results page for your times and placing and see you next year. Have a great summer and lets get into the training mode now.

I greatly appreciate the help from our sponsors in the right hand banner. They made it possible to reward nearly all competitors for their efforts on the day. We value your support, thank you very much.

We are lining up another annual Phyzique Offroad Challenge 2011.
The event venue is at Dublin Bay. We will have an offroad triathlon and duathlon events as usual.
The 400m swim leg will be held in the bay itself with the water usually chest deep. We hope this will encourage the first timers as you can stand up anytime you want during the swim.
The 11.5km bike ride will go along the lakeshore towards the outlet and than on the farmroad towards east. The last part of the bike leg is on the gravel road back to the beach.
The 7.8km run starts with the lakeshore and winds up to the to of the Crosshill farm. Than turns onto a horse trek and comes back to the shore. Beautiful views.
The event runs on the same track as previous years so you can check your progress. We would like to make it possible for anyone so again we are running a triathlon team event as well. I will see you all on 10/12/2011. if you think you could use some ecouragement or structured training for this event, let me know, or sign up for Triathlon 101.
